Who we are
Trees, lawns, drives and patios
B & V Tree & Landscape Services works on gardens and grounds across London. Most of what we do starts as a tree that has got too big for where it was planted, and finishes with the ground around it put back properly.
That is why the four things we offer sit together. There is not much point taking a leylandii screen down to head height and leaving the green stain it has been dripping onto your patio for a decade, or clearing a plot and leaving you standing in mud.
Everything gets quoted after a look on site, cut with the right kit for the access, and cleared before we leave.

From your first call to a swept site
The same five steps whether it is one conifer or a whole garden.
Step 01
Tell us what you need
Ring or send the form, with a photo of the job if you have one. Any of the four trades, and a rough idea is enough to start.
Step 02
We come and quote on site
Every job is seen before it is priced, because access and ground conditions decide most of the cost. The visit is free and you are under no obligation.
Step 03
You get the price and a date
Itemised and in writing, with a day that suits you. The figure is fixed: it does not change on the day unless you change the job.
Step 04
We do the work
You are told beforehand what we need from you, which is usually no more than a car off the drive and a gate left unlocked. No deposit is taken.
Step 05
You check it, then you pay
Be there at the end and walk the job with us. Nothing is asked for until the work is finished and you are satisfied with it.
Fruit & Ornamental Trees
Apple, pear, cherry and conifer pruning
September to February is our busiest stretch for tree work.
Apple and pear are the trees we get asked about most, and the ones a bit of care shows on quickest. A tree that has been left for a few years puts its growth into height and congestion rather than fruit, and thinning it out changes what you pick the following season.
Cherry, conifer and silver birch are all regular work too. Each wants handling differently, and the right time of year is not the same for all of them, so we will tell you when yours is best done rather than cutting whatever is in front of us.

The price comes after we have seen it
Access decides most of what a tree job costs, and you cannot see access down a phone line. Someone comes and looks, then you get a figure in writing that does not move on the day.
We finish the job the same day we start it
The chipper runs alongside the cutting, so there is no stack of brash left by the gate waiting on a second visit.
Trees and grounds from one team
The same crew fells the tree, washes the patio it was dropping on, and lays the turf afterwards. You are not chasing three different trades to finish one garden.
You are told when something is a bad idea
Conifers cut past the green never recover. Gravel over bare soil sinks. Where a job will not give you what you are hoping for, we say so before quoting, not after.
You do not pay until you are happy with it
No deposit up front, and nothing asked for until the work is finished and you have checked it over. There is a fourteen day cooling off period on top of that.
